A pilot was killed in a crash involving a Myanmar military training jet in Taungoo in Bago region on Tuesday, officials said.
The jet, an F-7, crashed due to a technical glitch while on a training sortie near Kyunkone village, 4.82 kilometres west of the Air Force base, officials added.

The pilot died due to serious injuries although he made an emergency parachute jump.
US President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation to ban entry of individuals from 12 nations - Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen, citing national security and public safety threats, according to the White House.
