India sends life-saving, anti-cancer drugs to Palestine
India sent 30 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Palestine on Tuesday in the midst of the ongoing war in West Asia.
Jordan and Palestine on Tuesday stressed their commitment to the two-state solution that entails creating an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
The pledge was made at a meeting between Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Secretary General of the Executive Committee of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat, Xinhua news agency reported.
Safadi briefed Erekat on the meeting between King Abdullah II and US Vice President Mike Pence, and efforts exerted to resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict on the basis of the two-state solution.

Erekat said the PLO highly values Jordan’s support for the Palestinians and their legitimate rights.
Pence visited Jordan on Sunday and met King Abdullah II. The US official said his country was committed to the two-state solution if it is agreed by both Israel and the Palestinians.
