Iran condemns new Israeli attacks in Syria
Iran on Thursday strongly condemned Israeli airstrikes in southern Syria and near Damascus, calling for international action to halt Israeli "aggression."
A large explosion rocked the area near the international airport here in the Syrian capital on Thursday, said a war monitor.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), however, did not provide any further details of casualties, Efe news reported.

It also added that the cause, as well as the source of the explosion, which struck 30 km southeast of here, remained unknown.
