Bangladesh seeks Sheikh Hasina’s extradition from India
Bangladesh has formally asked India to extradite former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who fled to this country in August after a student-led movement dislodged her from power.

The average pass percentage in 2018 was 66.64 per cent, down from 66.84 per cent in 2017. According to reports, the number of GPA 5 achievers plummeted to 29,262.

A total of 8,58,801 students passed the HSC and equivalent exams.

Girls continued to outperform boys as usual. While 69.7 per cent girls cleared the examinations, only 63.88 per cent boys passed. The pass percentage of girls in 2018 was higher than that of 2017 by about 6 per cent.
How to check Bangladesh HSC Results 2018
Reports state that among the boards outside the eight educational boards, the highest pass percentage was registered by the Technical board where 75.5 per cent students cleared the examinations. A total of 2,456 students in the Technical board got GPA 5.
On the other hand, the Madrassa board registered a pass rate of 78.67 per cent – around 12 per cent more than the national HSC score. The number of GPA 5 achievers in Madrassa board was 1,244.
The pass percentage of other boards including Barisal Board, Chittagong Board, Comilla Board, Dhaka Board, Dinajpur Board, Jessore Board, Rajshahi Board, Sylhet Board, Madrasah Board, Technical Board and DIBS Board has not been released yet.
