Social media giant Meta received 33,422 reports through the Indian grievance mechanism for Facebook in the month of September, and responded to all of these reports.
Millions of users around the world were left without the services of Twitter for a few minutes on Tuesday evening. The website was down for a couple of minutes from around 7.20 pm India time.

Twitter was back on briefly but was down again at the time of writing. It is not clear what has caused the outage.
Users landed on a screen with a blue background carrying a graphic of a robot with a broken hand, indicating broken link.

A message on the website read: “Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing – we’re going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon.”
The temporary outage was reported across the world. According to downdetector.in, a portal which keeps a tab on the outages in some of the world’s most famous websites, showed a spike in of outage reports related to Twitter.
There were 566 reports on the website at around 7.28 pm.
Though outages are not uncommon, the massive data breach in the Cambridge Analytica scandal has created a sense of concern around social media in the minds of the people.
