Tecno has opened its smartphone innings for this year in India, with Tecno Phantom X2 5G. The same smartphone that the company  unveiled in Dubai in December is now making its way to India. 

The Phantom X2 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and a 4nm,  which runs HiOS 12.0, based on Android 12-based operating system.

After a reduction is added to the original retail price of Rs. 51,999, the Tecno Phantom X2 5G is available for Rs 39,999. The phone can be pre-ordered on Amazon and will go on sale beginning January 9. It comes in two colour schemes,  Stardust Grey and Moonlight Silver.

The smartphone has 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it enables virtual RAM of up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. 

It sports a  6.8-inch FHD+ display and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz with resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. The top of the display has a Corning Gorilla Glass Vitus covering, making it scratch-resistant.

The triple back cameras on the 5G smartphone include a 64MP main camera, a 13MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP bokeh camera with quad flash. A 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture is located up front.

The Tecno Phantom X2 5G has a triple camera setup on the rear,  a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS at f/1.65, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor at f/2.2, and a 2-megapixel third camera. An f/2.45 32-megapixel camera with a hole-punch cutout is positioned in the top-center of the display as the front camera.

In India, the phone comes with 256GB of inbuilt UFS3.1 storage. Wi-Fi 2.4G, 5G & Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, OTG, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are among the available connectivity choices.

It houses a 5,160mAh battery that also features 45W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, the phone can charge up to 50% in 20 minutes.
