“Though the birth of a girl is not as celebrated as sons in many parts of Rajasthan, Seema’s parents decided to give her equal opportunities like their two sons. Despite facing gender bias from her extended family, she never stopped dreaming big and continued her studies. Her parents supported her fully in pursuit of her goals. Post her schooling, Seema joined Samsung Technical School and got the opportunity to learn on the latest mobile phones, audio visual and home appliance products. Post finishing her course, she underwent a month long on-the-job training and soon joined a Samsung Service Centre in Jaipur,” shared Samsung to TheStatesman.com in a statement.

Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje also felicitated Seema under the Skill India programme in December 2016.

Today, Seema works with one of the largest Samsung service centres in India and is also training more people in the same Samsung Training School in Jaipur where she got trained. Her achievement is an inspiration for millions of girls in India.
