CES 2023: Samsung’s new QLED TVs, fridges get smarter
Samsung presented an expanded lineup of Micro LED TVs from 50 inches to 140 inches, with five sizes in between.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 has begun from today in Las Vegas, and the tech giant Samsung is said to present the first foldable plus slidable OLED panel ever created.
According to a report on SamMobile, Samsung will probably refer to it as a hybrid panel.

This screen once folded open, an additional component of the screen comes out when it is slid open,” reports claims.

The panel should measure 8 inches diagonally when fully folded and 10 inches when it is unfolded.
The hybrid OLED panel will probably be 12.4 inches long when fully extended and slid open.
According to the report, the company may be testing this panel for devices that can switch between smartphones, tablets, and laptops depending on the user’s needs.
The world’s first 17-inch slidable PC display that slides smoothly rather than unfolds was unveiled by Samsung Display and chipmaker Intel in September of last year.
A prototype PC with a flexible display and sliding mechanism that transforms from a 13-inch tablet into a 17-inch display was on show, according to JS Choi, CEO of Samsung Display.

The OLED display is intended for usage in cutting-edge gadgets like smartphones, tablets, and laptops. When opened up, the 10.5-inch Flex Hybrid OLED screen, which has a 4:3 aspect ratio, becomes a 12.4-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
