Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S23 series, will be introduced next month.
But before the release of the most anticipated flagship of 2023, it is expected that tech giant Samsung’s mobile division (MX) will announce its first in-house mobile chipset then.
SamMobile says that a new Ice Universe report has hinted that Samsung MX CEO TM Roh would likely tease the high-end processor during the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event.

The new in-house processor is anticipated to be developed for the early 2025 release of the Galaxy S25 series, which is still two years away from its launch.
According to the report, it will be produced using the second- or third-generation 3nm gate-all-around (GAA) fabrication method from Samsung Foundry.
Additionally, the tech giant is said to have assembled a team of over a thousand experts, which includes a seasoned Apple semiconductor expert.
“If its first chip becomes a success, we could see Exynos chips disappear from Galaxy smartphones and tablets forever,” the report said.
Samsung is launching the S23 lineup in the first week of February this year. This will be the first live Unpacked event since the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020.
