Micromax on Thursday launched an all new mid-range selfie-centric smartphone in the country dubbed Micromax Selfie 3.
The Micromax Selife 3 is the successor to the Selfie 2, which was launched earlier this year in July. Upfront, the Selfie 3 gets a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM.
It offers 32GB in-built storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Micromax Selfie 3 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

For optics, the Selfie 3 boasts of a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with flash, which is the big highlight of the phone. Other than that it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash. The handset packs a 3000mAh battery.
It also features a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Commenting on the launch, Shubhodip Pal, Chief marketing & Commercial officer, Micromax, said, “With over 93 million selfies being captured every day, people today take and retake pictures of themselves until it mirrors perfection. Moreover, the festive season is around the corner and people love to take selfies with their family and friends.”

The Micromax Selfie 3 is priced at Rs. 11,999. It will be available across India starting September 22. It comes in Black and Blue colour options.
