Google’s most anticipated 2019 hardware event has concluded. During the event, the company announced a bunch of products including the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, new Pixel Buds, Stadia, Nest Wifi, Nest Mini, and Pixelbook Go.

Thanks to tech giant’s leaked information dropped ahead of the launch, the event was not so revelatory as it was expected. Below are the details of all the newly launched introduced products.

Google explains what’s new with Pixel 4 Camera

The new Pixel comes with dual rear cameras with hybrid digital and optical zoom with both its lenses.

Other noted features of the phone are—Live HDR plus, allowing you to see the photo before processing, complete with the HDR effect, how the photo will look like after processing.

The camera app also offers dual-exposure control, allowing the user to adjust brightness, shadows as per the requirement.

For quite some time now, Google has been using machine-based white balancing, with an aim to provide accurate colours in un-soothing shooting scenarios. For instance, snow clicked with some SLRs look blue, but the company is aiming to ensure that the pictures clicked on the Pixel 4 look realistic.

Last but not least, in Pixel 4, Google has improved its night sight and its presentation was done via pictures of stars. The company further aims to improve Pixel 4’s camera better over time.

Google unveils Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL

Google finally unveiled its Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, officially. At the beginning Google talked about phones’ 90Hz OLED display, radar-powered face unlock, unique features like car crash detection, along with captioning during a live video.

Both the phones will be available in various colour options including Orange, White, and Black.

The company also presented a recording app that is capable of transcribing voice recordings. Not just that, it can also dive into the recordings and find mention of any specific word or sound.

The company has already initiated phones’ pre-order bookings and will begin shipping from October 24th.

Google’s new mesh Wi-Fi is Nest Wi-Fi

During the event, Google introduced a new member mesh Wi-Fi router family called, Nest Wi-Fi. Google wi-fi’s shape and compact design is already loved by many across the globe. The Nest Wi-Fi’s cylindrical shape that comes in various different pastel shades will make the product stand out.

In addition to this, the Nest Wi-Fi has the ability to double as a smart speaker, a la Google Home.

The company is offering two version of the Nest Wi-Fi—one that acts as a router and is plugged into the modem. Second is called, ‘Point’ that can double as a smart speaker.

From November 4th the item will be available.

Google Nest Mini

The Nest Mini is Google’s smart speaker. Its appearance is very much close to the Google Home Mini but there are certain things that the company has changed. Now it can be mount to the wall. It also uses a sensor that turns on the indicator lights when the user moves his hand towards it.

The Google Nest mini will be available from October 22 for $49.99.

Google Pixelbook Go

The Pixelbook Go is the addition to Chromebook’s flagship. In appearance, the Pixelbook looks very much similar to the modern MackBook-until you flip it over. The base of the Pixelbook is ribbed, which also makes it easier to hold.

Google Pixel Buds

These are the next-generation headphones and are called, ‘All-New Pixel Buds’. These headphones are truly wireless headphones that allow for hands-free access to Google Assistant with the “Hey Google” wake word.

These headphones support long-range connectivity, and the company claims that they can remain connected to a football field’s length. The Battery for each headphone lasts five hours, and their wireless charging case can last up to 24 hours of playtime.

The All-New Pixel Buds will be available in spring 2020 for $179.

GOOGLE STADIA

Google’s cloud gaming platform, Stadia, will launch on November 19th. It will be playable on TV via Chromecast, Google’s Pixelbook lineup, as well as Pixel phones.
