Expanding its X series smartphone portfolio, Gionee India on Tuesday launched ‘X1s’ which will be available in India for Rs 12,999, starting September 21.
Gionee X1s sports 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera with LED flash and 13MP rear camera. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using microSD card. Last month, Gionee had launched X1 smartphone with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
“By launching Gionee X1s, we aim to offer our consumers with an outstanding confluence of advanced technology accompanied with enhanced selfie plus battery capabilities,” said Alok Shrivastava, Director, Business Intelligence and Planning, Gionee, in a statement.

Gionee X1s full specifications
The X1s is backed by a 4000mAh battery, instead of 3000mAh seen on Gionee X1. It features slightly larger 5.2-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla glass 3 and has fingerprint sensor which unlocks it within 0.3 seconds. The handset is powered by a quad-core processor from MediaTek. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Amigo 4.0 UI skinned on top.
Gionee X1s at Rs. 12,999 will be available through all leading online and offline retail stores across India starting September 21.
