Apple submits land request for iPhone 16 production in India

Apple submits land request for iPhone 16 production in India

With the ongoing development in the Foxconn factory unit in China, Apple has submitted a land request to Yamuna Authority along with three affiliated business partners in anticipation of  starting iPhone 16  manufacturing in India.

The tech giant has suggested investing Rs 2,800 crore to build a plant on roughly 23 acres of land.

Apple and the allied companies recommended the investment at a meeting held in Korea.

If everything goes in the right direction, Apple and partner companies would be given land in Sector 29 of YEIDA, which is highly developed and has a lot of readily available services, according to YEIDA CEO Dr. Arun Vir Singh.
