Apple’s chipset shipments increased to 18 pc in Q3 globally
Tech giant Apple’s chipset shipments increased to 18 per cent globally in the third quarter this year (from 13 per cent in Q2 2024), due to the launch of its A18 chipset.
Expectations are high as users are expecting a new keyboard this year i.e. switching out the old butterfly keyboard mechanism for a scissor mechanism.
A new leaked image of the upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro has been surfaced via macOS 10.15.1 Catalina with a discrete touch ID sensor.
As per the image, there is a slight change in the positioning of the MacBook Pro’s Touch ID sensor. It is now at the top right corner of the keyboard, at a bit distance from the touch bar, reports said.

The MacBook Pro is likely to have a 3072×1920 resolution display. If rumours are to be believed, this MackBook Pro will be powered by a refresh of Intel’s Coffee Lake-H mobile processor series.
Reports suggest that Apple is also expected to upgrade 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro high-end tablets this time. The A13 Bionic chip, debuting in the iPhone 11 lineup, will also make it to the iPad Pro.
