Indian quick commerce startup, Zepto, became the world’s second most downloaded mobile app in the foods and drinks category in 2024, data released by the Sensor Tower said.
Blinkit’s rival Zepto saw its expenses surge a whopping 71.6 per cent to Rs 5,747 crore in the last financial year (FY24), as the company clocked Rs 1,248.6 crore in losses.
The company attributed the surge in demand to a broader trend towards both traditional and convenient festive solutions.
