AAP national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar also said that the BJP lost all the 14 seats where Yogi Adityanath held rallies last time.
"The main reason for the rise in Delhi's air and water pollution is BJP's cheap politics," she contented.
The statement follows the sighting of a thick layer of froth floating on the river in Kalindi Kunj area, located on the Delhi-Noida border.
Delhi's overall AQI clocked 278 on Saturday as per the 4PM AQI bulletin provided by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Adding to the city’s environmental woes, the Yamuna River was seen covered in a thick layer of white froth ahead of the festive season.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, along with other BJP MLAs BJP MLAs, brought water from the Yamuna to the Delhi Assembly to protest against the rising pollution of the river water. Bidhuri said people of Delhi are forced to drink the polluted water from Yamuna.
