20 -month ‘exile’ ends for Kolkata students

The students were stopped at the college gate and asked to produce the first dose vaccination certificate. They claimed that though it is true that vaccination camps were set up at the college, it was nowhere mentioned that doses will also be administered to students below 18 years.

BJP leader hacked to death in West Bengal

The incident took place on Saturday night when Shambhu Maiti (36), the head of BJP's Shakti Kendra in Chandipur Assembly constituency, was picked up from the road side and hacked to death. His body was recovered from the banks of Keleghai river on Sunday morning.
