As rains continue to strike parts of Delhi, water level of Yamuna stands at the edge of danger with a prediction of 205.7 at midnight.
The Yamuna continued to flow above the danger mark of 205.33 meters in the national capital. It was 206.56 metres at 7.00 am on Monday. The Yamuna was flowing at 206.44 metres at 10:00 pm on Sunday after rain lashed several parts of the city on Sunday evening.
The water level of the Yamuna River was recorded at 206.01 meters in Delhi on Monday at 11 pm. This is a level-up from the earlier gradual decrease in the water level of the Yamuna.

The Department of Irrigation and Flood Control said it has deployed boats in different areas of the national capital and has also put 21 others on stand-by for emergency situations.
According to sources, incessant rainfall in north Bengal in the past few days had caused swelling of the three rivers that flow through Malda- -Ganga, Mahananda and Fulhar-- resulting in water-logging in some parts of Old Malda and English Bazaar.
As per information, the water level in Hirakud today is 598.79 feet. Just few days back, i.e. on 13 July, the water level was 601.65 feet, but it has reduced drastically with only 8005 cusec inflow, informed the dam control room authorities.
It is after 10 years that the water level in the reservoir has reached its highest level mark of 1,163 feet.
