Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday said that ‘New Kashmir’ is no longer a story of conflict but a story of trust being restored and faith being rewarded. "The change is not imperceptible; it is perceptible. Perception has changed, ground reality is changing, hopes of the people are soaring,” he stated.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday stressed the importance of a functioning Parliament for a healthy democracy. He said public unrest could erupt if Parliament continues to be disrupted and becomes irrelevant.

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday stressed that multilateral engagements are no longer optional but essential for addressing modern-day threats, ranging from cyber crimes and terrorism to climate change and disruptive technologies.
"Looking to our nation's size, its potential, its position, and the growth trajectory on which it is there, our corporates need to come forward to engage in research and development," Dhankhar said while addressing the gathering at the 83rd CSIR Foundation Day Celebrations, Pusa Road, here.
India is now a global happening place and Uttar Pradesh, the state bubbling with activity, he said while claiming that Bharat is now one of the most buoyant economies in the world and a favourite destination for global investment.
"I firmly believe, and that is the ground reality, that all institutions in our country are robust. Our institutions are working with checks and balances, our institutions have earned laurels," he said in his address at Sansad TV@3 Conclave in Parliament House.
