The polling held in 90 Assembly constituencies spread across 20,632 polling stations in the state was by and large peaceful.
According to the ECI, among all districts, Yamunanagar is leading with the highest voting percentage of 56.79 percent followed by Mewat with 56.59 percent, Palwal with 56.02 percent and Jind with 53.94 percent while the lowest voter turnout is recorded in Gurugram with 38.61 percent.
The elections to the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) concluded on Friday with all three organisations, Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP), National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), and the Left alliance claiming victory before the announcement of results.
Taking the responsibility of poor voting percentage in the Lok Sabha election in respective panchayat areas in three Assembly constituencies, the panchayat pradhans and deputy pradhans have voluntarily submitted resignations to the BDO.
Voting was underway for six seats of the Legislative Council from graduates and teachers constituencies in Karnataka on Monday.

The seventh and final phase of polling in the largest festival of democracy started on Saturday as voting started in the last 57 parliamentary constituencies at 7 am across seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
The Chief Minister said that in the last one and a half year tenure, the Congress government stood with the people of the state in every happiness and sorrow.
The polling is scheduled to begin at 7 am in 1.09 lakh polling stations amid tight security. These polling stations will be manned by around 10.9 lakh polling officials.
