The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the authorities to ensure that no hate speeches are made and no violence or damage to any properties takes place in any protest rallies being organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad in the national capital and the adjoining areas of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
Heavy security forces have been deployed in the Jahangirpuri area of the national capital to deal with any untoward incident on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on Thursday.
VHP working president Alok Kumar in a statement said, "6th December is a big day for the whole country. That's why VHP branch Bajrang Dal celebrates 6th December as 'Shaurya Diwas'.
"Lakhs of Ram bhakts will participate in these rallies. And ultimately, we will wage a nation-wide movement from December 18," he said.
A proposal to rename the state capital has thankfully been rejected.
The former Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader said the time has come for him to field candidates in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls to defeat the "anti-Hindu forces".
"The way sanctity, religious belief, and the serenity of Sabarimala have been attacked shows the real face of CPI-M," the two organisations said in a joint statement.
Both are students of fourth year at the LLRM Medical College here and used to study together at the residence of the boy.
