Taking cognisance of increasing cyber crime incidents in view of digital penetration in the country, he noted that this was a new area of concern for agencies, investigators, regulators and legal fraternity, and called for developing technical and human expertise to tackle it.

Emphasising on the need to be “vocal for local”, the VP said that this spirit was a facet of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, and reflected the essence of the ‘Swadeshi Andolan’ during India’s freedom struggle.
The Vice President thanked Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison and Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett for joining the BTS-2021 through video conferencing.
Naidu shared his thoughts and concerns with the participants on a range of issues including environmental protection, promotion of entrepreneurship among farmers.
