Delhi air quality dips to ‘very poor’ category

As per the data from the CPCB recorded at 6:00 am on Thursday morning, the Air quality index at Anand Vihar was at 387 (very poor); At ITO, Delhi it was 343 (very poor) while the AQI at Wazirpur, Delhi, was 422 (severe), at RK Puram, it was 415 ( severe).
The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded on Monday at 340 by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
Out of the 36 pollution monitoring stations, theAQI in as many as 19 stations is in the 'very poor' category, 14 stations recorded the index in the 'poor' category, one recorded it in the 'moderate' category, and two were non-functional, according to Central pollution Board's data.
