The 14-year-old boy from Chembrasseri near Pandikkad in Kerala’s Malappuram district, who was infected with Nipah virus, passed away on Sunday while under treatment for the disease at Kozhikode medical college hospital.

Veena George announced the new guidelines, which say that those who enter shops, banks, and other establishments should have at least one dose of vaccine or an RT-PCR certificate not older than 72 hours.
