Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya on Friday on a one-day trip, where he participated in the Panch Narayan Mahayagya after offering prayers at the Shri Ram Lalla and Hanumangarhi temples.
The state organised a ‘Global Investors Summit' in 2018 in which 1,045 investment intents worth Rs 4.28 lakh crore were filed. So far, nearly 43 per cent of the leads generated at the summit worth around Rs 1.84 lakh crore are under various stages of implementation.
The meeting which was held at Prime Minister Modi’s official residence cum office here was attended by the first batch of 40 MPs from Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing the people here, Yadav said, "Those who claim to make Uttar Pradesh number one in the country have actually taken it to the top position in custodial deaths, hunger index, farmer suicides, in selling public enterprises and banks and in burying cows alive. Can anyone imaging that live cows can be buried?"
The Prime Minister’s visit to Saharanpur will take place on 18 December where he will lay the foundation stone of the Ganga Expressway in the afternoon.
The increase will be applicable with retrospective effect from July 2021 and the arrears will be transferred to the employees' Provident Fund account.
