Polling began on Monday on 54 seats for the seventh and last phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Over 2.16 crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise at 25,794 polling places and 15,557 polling stations in the third phase of Assembly elections.
"Phase I has seen 59.87 per cent polling till voting ended," said the ECI statement said.
"We wanted to welcome (RLD chief) Jayant Chaudhary to our home (BJP) but he has chosen the wrong path," the BJP MP added.
After the meeting, Uttar Pradesh's Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma said that there was a discussion about the UP elections in the meeting.
"Our alliance with RLD is final. Seat sharing is to be finalised," he told PTI in an interview.
No country can claim to be a representative democracy if nearly half the population is not part of the decision-making process.
Samajwadi Party is yet to make any official announcement on the alliance, NCP general secretary and UP in-charge K.K. Sharma said, "That is what Pawar Sahab exactly wants. We should contest in alliance with the main opposition party to check the BJP from coming to power in every state. In UP, the main opposition party is SP."
'If government hospitals in Delhi can improve, people here can get free electricity 24x7, why can't the same happen in UP?' Kejriwal said.
