CAG detects Rs 3640-crore irregularities in five UP departments

The CAG report has exposed that the State Tax Department (State GST) is not able to curb the cases of wrongly given Input Tax Credit (ITC). Out of Rs 1,525 crore irregularities in State GST, about Rs 1,446 crore cases are related to bogus ITC alone.
