The family of the 23-year-old, who died late Friday, performed her last rites and her mortal were buried on the outskirts of Hindupur village on Sunday afternoon in the presence of thousands of mourners.
The victim's father was booked by the police under the Arms Act on 3 April and put in jail on April 5. The father died in jail on 9 April, with the postmortem report mentioning serious injuries on his body.
