‘River Ranching’ programme launched in 5 states

The Union government launched the 'River Ranching' programme across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Tripura aimed at addressing the increase in fish catch, improved the livelihood of fishers and maintaining the cleanliness of the river.
