Union Health Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda on Wednesday accused Congress of promoting urban Naxal forces in the country and claimed that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has allied with them.
Following the meeting, senior Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat expressed optimism, stating, “The impasse will soon be resolved."
“This seems to be an international conspiracy and Aaditya Thackeray seems to have become the spokesperson of Urban Naxal,” he alleged.
"Wherever there was the hand of Modi, including the Ram temple, Parliament House and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue – every work was proved to be of low quality," he alleged.
After hearing the submissions of the parties, Justice Sanjeev Narula also directed the poll panel to adjudicate the pending dispute.
State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule made the announcement and asserted that Patel will withdraw his nomination papers on Monday evening, which is the last date for withdrawal.
The Election Commission on Monday allotted new names and symbol to the two factions of the erstwhile Shiv Sena, which split into Chief Minister Eknath Shinde group and ex-Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray group.
The EC froze Shiv Sena symbol and barred both the rival camps headed by Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde in the party from using the party name and symbol in the upcoming Assembly bypoll slated for November 3.
The Shiv Sena chief also challenged Home Minister Amit Shah to conduct Mumbai civic polls and assembly elections within a month.
