Shiv Sena (UBT) has unilaterally announced that the party will go solo in the upcoming nagar panchayat, nagar parishad, zilla parishad and municipal corporation elections. Party MP Sanjay Raut announced this here on Saturday.
Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut is well known for criticising the BJP and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regularly, but he ended up praising Fadnavis on Friday in Mumbai, surprising several political observers.

Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday to either apologise for Union Minister Amit Shah’s comments on Dr B R Ambedkar, or quit his post.

According to sources, at the meeting that is being held at 'Matoshree', discussion on seat sharing for the Lok Sabha polls can take place.
His remarks came after Raj Thackeray met Amit Shah in the national capital fueling speculations that the MNS may become part of the BJP-led NDA for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
