Shiv Sena (UBT) has unilaterally announced that the party will go solo in the upcoming nagar panchayat, nagar parishad, zilla parishad and municipal corporation elections. Party MP Sanjay Raut announced this here on Saturday.
Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut is well known for criticising the BJP and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regularly, but he ended up praising Fadnavis on Friday in Mumbai, surprising several political observers.
Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena workers barged into the South Mumbai office of a company on Friday and took to task a Bihari manager who used to allegedly mentally harass a Maharashtrian employee and kept saying "Ek Bihari sab pe bhaari" (one Bihari is enough to dominate everybody).

In view of the political upheavals along with legal, procedural issues witnessed in the past nine days, the Governor has also convened a one-day Special Session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Thursday with a single point agenda of a trust vote against Chief Minister Uddhav.
