More than 4,000 instances of the outage have been received from Japan, Canada and India as reported by outage monitoring website Outage.
Millions of users around the world were left without the services of Twitter for a few minutes on Tuesday evening. The website was down for a couple of minutes from around 7.20 pm India time.
