Apart from being the CEO of Y Combinator, Seibel also confounded Justin.tv, the interactive video platform that later transformed into Twitch.
The President, who held a campaign rally in Minneapolis on Thursday night, streamed the event live on the channel.
The attack marks the latest incident in which a violent act has been live-streamed for the public, raising questions about the responsibility of platforms like Twitch, which is owned by Amazon.
