Gabbard, who has become a regular presence in conservative media, announced a National Guard Association gathering in Michigan where Trump was also speaking, The Hill reported.
The first Hindu in the US Congress left the Democratic Party in 2022, calling it an "elitist cabal of warmongers" and accusing its leadership of "cowardly wokeness".
The country has been swept by protests since George Floyd's custodial death on May 25 with thousands of people mounting pressure for changes to the law enforcement practices.
The two Democratic presidential aspirants, both of whom have a huge support base among Indian-Americans across the country.
"I'm not making any predictions but I think they've got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate," Clinton said, in an apparent reference to Gabbard.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address Indian-Americans at the mega event on September 22.
Ms Gabbard, who converted to Hinduism early in her life and has become the first-ever Hindu to be running for the presidency in the US, is highly popular among Indian-Americans.
Biden has emerged as the frontrunner among nearly 20 Democratic presidential aspirants, including Indian-American Senator Kamala Harris, first Hindu US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and Senator Bernie Sanders.
Gabbard, who is a Hindu American but not Indian-American, has raised more than $237,000, from the community
