To maintain the safety of passengers and tourists, the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) team of the Delhi Police arrested 540 touts, seized 254 vehicles used from their possession, and made 41 preventive detentions so far in 2024.
The accused are involved in the development and sale of these illegal software using social media i.e. Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. along with providing fake virtual numbers and fake user IDs of the IRCTC.
RPF has arrested 1459 touts, 366 IRCTC agent IDs and 6751 personal Ids have been blocked as part of the drive against touts. It is undertaking operation 'upalabdh' to check the malpractices in the railway reservations.
