With the introduction of tourist police and by organising a car rally, Arunachal Pradesh is hoping to enhance tourist footfalls, writes Rakesh Kumar.
The refurbished vans will be more conspicuous with pictures of important tourist places on either side. The police personnel will sport yellow-maroon badges with Tourist Police logo on their left arm.
