In an unfortunate mishap atleast 14 people died and three got injured after a girder launching machine collapsed near Shahpur in Thane.
The deceased, believed to be in the age group of 25 to 30 years, had strangulation marks and her hands were tied with a 'dupatta' (a long piece of cloth worn around neck), an official at Kalyan rural police station said.
The accused were identified as Jolly Naik Seth and supervisor Madhukar Pawar, both from Anjur village in the district, the official said.
