The MoU, under the Defence Testing Infrastructure Scheme (DTIS), was exchanged between senior officials of MoD and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited in the presence of Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane in New Delhi.
Informing about this, a state government official said the government had launched a decisive campaign against AIDS with the goal of three zero which includes zero infection, zero death and zero discrimination.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, 'So far, more than 1 lakh 85 thousand samples have been taken in the state. There are 2213 tests being done in Rajasthan per 10 lakh population, which is higher than other states.'
Punjab reported 130 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday taking the total to 1,232, with death toll at 23.
Currently, the ICMR has approved COVID-19 testing in more than 200 laboratories across the country.
