The L-G was chairing a high-level meeting of senior civil, police officials and DCs, SSPs of Jammu Division to review the progress of development projects and security situation in the region.
The two-day conference is being organized by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Ministry of Home Affairs.
The LG was interacting with the youth in the border district town of Baramulla in North Kashmir.
He added that terrorist masters now understand that harming India will not yield results, as India will not spare them.

DGP, who was reviewing the security situation in south Kashmir's Anantnag and Pulwama, said that J&K Police is making every effort to stop involvement of youth and have remained successful in bringing back several misguided youth to their parents. He said that Pakistan agents and their handlers are hell bent to disturb peace here.
The exercise was conducted in two phases involving combat conditioning and tactical training of counter-terrorism operations culminating with validation of training in semi-urban environment.
