Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav urged the backward and extremely backward communities to give him a chance to form the government in Bihar and promised jobs and security in return.
Political parties in Bihar on Wednesday widely welcomed the central government’s decision to conduct the caste census along with the national census next year. The JD(U) and RJD leaders said the central government has accepted their age-old demand.
Tejashwi Yadav said, “Give me a chance. I am young, I have a new vision. Let’s build a new Bihar together. I am determined for a long term in politics. That is why I will not compromise with the law and order at any cost.”
Tejashwi’s claim that the law has badly affected the Pasi community that constitutes about one per cent of Bihar population has won support from various quarters.
