Singh taunted Tejashwi Yadav for being unable to fulfill the promise of providing one million jobs, that the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader had made as a chief ministerial candidate during the 2020 Assembly election.
He also highlighted his confidence in the Mahagathbandhan and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be cornered as the opposition in Vidhan Sabha.
The oath ceremony was attended by RJD's Tejashwi Yadav and his wife Rajshri, former CM Rabri Devi, and RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav at the swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Patna.
Soon after the JD(U)-BJP split, a police official pasted "former" against the nameplate of deputy chief minister Tar Kishore Prasad.
