Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi on Sunday slammed Congress MP Digvijay Singh for comparing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) with the Popular Front of India (PFI) organisation and said that he should be "ashamed" for doing so.
The matter came up as CPI Member of Parliament Binoy Viswam had asked a question about the sexual violence within marriages during the Question Hour.
The development assumes significance in the light of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi focussing his attention in the Muslimdominated Seemanchal region of Bihar.
“It is certain that the elections can’t be held in a conventional manner due to the Corona fear. They could be held on the line of recently held polling in South Korea which strictly maintained social distance at the polling booth,” Modi told the local media.
