The survey, conducted by the Indian company Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) PLC on behalf of the US-based Princeton Survey Research Associates (PSRA), included questions targeting the Muslim community, raising concerns about potential communal disharmony.
The survey was led by experts from the Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC), Safdarjung Hospital and THE AIIMS, New Delhi.
The survey revealed that 59% of respondents anticipate an increase in private capital expenditure during April-September compared to the previous six months.
Conducted by national news agency Kyodo over the weekend, the telephone survey showed Kishida's Cabinet approval rating at 22.2 per cent, a decline from 24.2 per cent in May, reports Xinhua News Agency.
Only 54 per cent of respondents said they received a few free seat options during booking. This leaves many scrambling for free seats or are forced to pay extra.
The decision was taken by the state government in the wake of protests against the flaws in the satellite survey carried out for determining eco-sensitive zones (ESZs).
Out of the 5000 women surveyed, reason for increased drinking among women was stress in 45.7 per cent of the cases.
According to the survey, the mean age of initiation of tobacco use is 20.2 years and the average duration of tobacco use among past smokers is 20.9 years.
This assessment is also reflective in order books as 55% of the respondents in Q-1 (April-June 2022-23) are expecting higher number of orders, the survey noted.
"The survey lasted for three days from May 14-16. Only 50 per cent report is ready, not complete yet. This is why we will not be able to produce it before the court today. We will seek 3-4 days' time from court," said Ajay Pratap Singh.
