The BJP on Wednesday slammed Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi over his meeting with US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar in the US, saying that "the US lawmaker is known for her anti-India statements".
BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said, "The Hindenburg Report is under the lens of Indian investigative agencies. The question arises why does the Opposition always complement whatever transpires in foreign countries?"
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday conferred Russia’s highest civilian honour, Order of St Andrew the Apostle, on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on a two-day official visit to Moscow for the 22nd Annual Summit.
Addressing a joint press conference alongwith BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant mentioned that he has been in Delhi for three days, participating in the campaign efforts.
He also took a dig at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his comments that not a needle was manufactured indigenously when India gained freedom and late prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru built everything.
"Rahul's Congress has lost the moral rights to be called the Congress of Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress' thinking has got degenerated," he said.
