To mark the Mother’s Day, Sunday Haat organised several programmes here today and announced ‘Himalayan Strawberry Festival’, the first of its kind of agro-tourism festival, at Chimney Village under Kurseong Sub Division in Darjeeling district on 18 May.
The hamlet is also known as the ‘Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh’, a title it truly deserves. It is also the only place in south India that receives snowfall during winters. The village came into light after the temperature dropped down to a sub-zero level in the year 2012.
You can have fun during hot summers sipping a variety of fresh and chilled milkshakes. If you enjoy them, that’s all that matters!
Strawberry would soon be available abundantly as the fruit will now be cultivated in the southern parts of the state.…
