As much as the spectators were awe-struck by vintage four-wheelers in today’s 54th edition of The Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally, vintage two-wheelers also owned their own space in the rally with the bikes showcasing each of the characteristics with which they have been making their marks throughout history and is still continuing, having the rally as an testament.
The 54th edition of the statesman vintage and classic car rally will be held on 19 January at the RCTC ground.
City-based vehicle enthusiasts had another chance to touch base with automobile history at the Vintage and Classic Car and Bike Rally organised by the Automobile Association of Eastern India (AAEI) on Sunday.
The 52nd edition of the rally will be held on January 29 at the Eastern Command Stadium.
A total of 53 running trophies were given out, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal distributed prizes
As many as 94 vehicles participated in the 53rd The Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally 2019. These included 37 cars from the vintage category, 8 from the classic section, 18 from the post-War section, and 31 from other categories
The golden oldies will line up and roll out from The Statesman House on Barakhamba Road in New Delhi on February 10, marking the beginning of the 53rd edition of one of the oldest annual vintage car rallies in India.
As many as 50 vintage and classic cars along with eight vintage motorbikes were displayed by their respective owners as part of the special event that marks the starting point of the road to the annual Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally to be held in February 2019
