Addressing the ‘Samvidhan Sadan’ on the occasion of Constitution Day, Jagdeep Dhankar said Democracy is best nurtured with its constitutional institutions being in sync, tandem and togetherness adhering to their jurisdictional area.
The current MoU will not only increase these activities manifolds but also engender new activities in research and academics.
This is an initiative towards institutionalising engagement of BIS with eminent institutes for securing active participation of academia.
For this, Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal inspected the pilot stretch developed from Britannia Chowk to Outer Ring Road today, where he said, “Delhi boasts of very wide roads but they don’t meet international standards of quality. Hence, the Delhi Government is redeveloping more than 500 kms of Delhi’s roads according to European Standards, for which I took stock of the progress of one of the stretches today”
