Hyderabad Police have warned of strict action against anyone found posting false videos or information suggesting that the stampede at Sandhya Theatre took place before the arrival of 'Pushpa' star Allu Arjun on the fateful night of 4 December.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today slammed the Tollywood film industry for failing to show compassion towards the dead woman and the child injured in the stampede during the benefit show of Pushpa 2 and instead, extending their support to Telugu actor Allu Arjun who was arrested by the police in connection with the case.
The Hyderabad Police have arrested Pushpa star Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede at Sandhya Theatres that had left a woman dead and her nine-year-old son critically injured. He was taken to Gandhi Hospital for medical examination before being produced before the magistrate at Nampally court.

After visiting the families of four deceased in Pilkhana, the Congress MP leader reached Hathras Green Park to meet the families of the victims there. Speaking to the media, he said the state government should help the poor families wholeheartedly at their hour of need.
A notification in this regard was issued by Governor Anandiben Patel late on Wednesday night.
The tragic stampede in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, which claimed lives of more than 120 people, predominantly women, is a sombre reminder of the critical importance of crowd management and public safety at large gatherings.

According to reports, singer Nikhita Gandhi was performing at the Kerala University music fest.
"The first information points to a stampede of fans who tried to enter to watch the match between Alianza and FAS" at the Cuscatlan Stadium, the PNC said.
