The film has received a lot of love and support from dignitaries from different fields, ranging from Anil Kumble, Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, superstar Rajinikanth to Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of India, Anurag Thakur and now, it has added a new feather to its rising glory as the renowned Indian yoga guru, a spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar watched 'Kantara' with the devotees.
He said, “Indigenous cultures have all considered the sun, water, mountains, and wind as sacred. These (resources) are essential for sustainable growth and development of the planet".
He has become the first Asian to receive the award. The award is usually given to the heads of state, this is the first time it has been awarded to a spiritual leader.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of Living Foundation will hold events worldwide across cities and countries. Between 3rd and 19th May, global peace movement events will be held in 24 cities of USA in the presence of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar himself.
The apex court began daily hearings on August 6 after a court-appointed panel failed to find a solution through mediation.
On July 11, the apex court had said that day-to-day hearing will begin from July 25 if the mediation panel fails to submit a report by this week.

In a March 8 order, the Supreme Court had referred the case for mediation by a panel headed by former apex court judge FMI Kalifulla for exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement.
